Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.

The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus check here terms, is at TradeTheDay.
