Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
